I'm currently working on several MIDI instruments based on the BasicStamp. Several different sensors and interface devices are being tested while I learn how the MIDI protocol works. So far I've implemented Parallax Ping sensors as pitch blend and velocity inputs. Buttons can be used to send notes as well as synth specific commands. The most complex button system I've experimented with involves an NES Powerpad as a note input. I'll post BS2 code, images, and schematics as I get the time.
